Yoga Tree is a welcoming community for yogis of all experience levels. We offer a variety of different yoga styles that are perfect for students of all skill and body type. Our daily offerings include vinyasa, yin yoga, hatha, anusara, gentle, power and meditation.
At Yoga Tree, we encourage you to live your yoga on and off the mat! We are a dedicated family of authentic yogis who live the practice; and we offer beautiful support in your journey.
The word “yoga” means “union” and refers to the spiritual union between the mind and the body and the spirit. Through the experience of the breath and the movement of the body we cultivate a stronger relationship with the mind and the soul. Asanas (poses) are specifically designed to strengthen the body, release muscular tension, and tone internal organs. With regular practices, students benefit from less stress and anxiety, a centered mind, and an enhanced sense of well being. Health benefits include lower blood pressure, increased strength and flexibility, a stronger immune system, better stress management, and long-term weight loss. Regular yoga practice at Yoga Tree will cultivate mindfulness and presence for a healthier lifestyle.
All skill levels are welcome here! If you are new to yoga, this is a great place to begin your practice. Bring your mat, an open mind, and a willingness to discover new possibilities. We recommend wearing clothing that allows you to move comfortably. Our experienced instructors provide assists to support your practice and help you move freely into the full expression of each pose. You are welcome to try any class. Please be aware that the pacing may be a bit faster in an advanced-levels class; however our teachers will guide in modifications for those just starting. We encourage you to do as much as you feel comfortable doing and know that you can rest at any time.
Our skillful instructors help experienced yogis go deeper in their practice while respecting individual needs. We encourage all yogis to move towards a mindful practice that balances the physicality of asanas with breath work and meditation. Whether you are new to yoga or have made it a part of your lifestyle for many years, we invite you to enter the studio with a beginner’s mind and be open to the possibilities of your practice.
At Yoga Tree, we practice the intention of yoga by treating everyone with respect and love. Our instructors have a diverse background in yogic philosophy, structural alignment, body sculpt, injury recovery, and nutrition. We are passionate about helping students deepen their mind/body connection, detoxify their bodies, heal from past physical injuries and emotional trauma, and empower personal growth.
